This vodcast explores the experience-based route (EBR), a pathway for staff working in Early Years who don’t currently hold a full and relevant level 3 or above qualification to work in the staff:child ratios at level 3. EBR is a way to recognise those staff and give them the opportunity to work, and put their skills to use, at a higher level.

This vodcast explains what the experience-based route is, the eligibility criteria for both provider and staff, the process for completion and answers questions from professionals working in Early Years as part of a wider EYFS regulatory consultation.
